Naturopathic Care
Pediatric & Family Care
When your child feels well, the whole family feels it.

The opening conversation
As a parent, nothing is more stressful than watching your child struggle with a health concern and not getting clear answers. Whether it is a baby who cannot seem to settle, a toddler with chronic digestive issues, a child with recurring infections, or a teen navigating anxiety, ADHD, or their first period, naturopathic care offers a whole-body approach to understanding what is driving your child's symptoms and supporting their health from the root up.
I work with children from newborn through to age sixteen, and I bring the same thorough, evidence-informed approach to pediatric care that I bring to every patient. The goal is not just to manage symptoms but to build a strong foundation of health that supports your child as they grow.
One thing that makes this easier for busy families: children do not need to be present at every appointment. Many concerns can be discussed and managed with parents directly, making it far more convenient to get the support you need.

How I approach
Pediatric & Family Care

My approach blends thorough clinical assessment with gentle, evidence-informed strategies tailored to your child's age, stage, and individual needs. I look at the full picture of your child's health including their diet, sleep, digestion, immune function, nervous system, and emotional wellbeing, and I build manageable, realistic plans that fit your family's life.
Treatment may include dietary and nutritional guidance, targeted supplementation appropriate for children, lifestyle recommendations, acupuncture where appropriate, and referrals to other practitioners when needed. I also offer workshops, talks, and educational events for parents, schools, and community organizations on topics including children's sleep, digestion, immunity, and nervous system support.

What we might explore together
The full picture
Every patient's story is different but here's where we'll likely look:
Nutrient deficiencies common in children including iron, vitamin D, zinc, and omega 3 fatty acids, gut health and its connection to immunity, skin, mood, and behaviour, food sensitivities and their role in digestive, skin, and mood concerns, sleep patterns and what is driving difficulty settling or staying asleep, nervous system regulation and its connection to behaviour and emotional health, immune function and what is behind frequent or lingering illness, and early hormonal health and menstrual cycle education for teens.
A Note on Menstrual Health for Teens
The arrival of a first period can be confusing, overwhelming, and for many young people, painful or irregular. Naturopathic care offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to talk about what is normal, what is not, and how to support hormonal health from the very beginning. Early cycle education and support is something I feel strongly about, because building a healthy relationship with your cycle from the start makes everything easier down the road.

Absolutely. Early menstrual cycle education and support is something I feel strongly about. Whether your teen is experiencing painful periods, irregular cycles, significant PMS, or simply wants to understand what is happening in their body, I offer a supportive, age-appropriate space for those conversations.
Frequent illness in children is often connected to nutrient deficiencies, gut health imbalances, food sensitivities, or immune dysregulation. Through a thorough assessment and targeted testing where appropriate, I identify what is making your child's immune system vulnerable and build a plan to support their resilience from the inside out.
Yes. While naturopathic care is not a replacement for psychiatric assessment or medication when needed, I can offer meaningful support through nutrition, nervous system regulation, sleep optimization, gut health, and targeted supplementation. Many families find naturopathic support a helpful complement to their child's existing ADHD care.
