Naturopathic Care
Dr. Margot ND - Dr. Margot offers virtual and in-person naturopathic care

Naturopathic care is available both in person(Toronto) and online (for any resident of Ontario). Virtual care is delivered via secure video or phone.

Beginning with assessments and testing, we then use those results to guide a treatment strategy as we work through my signature Cornerstone Method to optimize your health.

When it comes to treatments, you have options! We will work together to choose whether nutrition, lifestyle, botanical medicines, supplements, hormone replacement therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, or some combination of these feels most aligned with YOU.

Initial Visit - Assessment
$260
Up to 90 mins

My job as your naturopathic doctor is to ask the right questions, thoroughly investigate with the right tests, collaborate with other healthcare team members, and understand all aspects of your health to develop a custom care plan for you.

The appointment includes a full assessment of chief concerns, complete health history and in-depth questioning around the 6 cornerstones of health. We will discuss my professional opinion on the links between your symptoms and the possible root causes of your concerns. We will review testing options and how we will track your progress when treatment is started.

Second Visit - Strategy
$180
Up to 60 mins

This appointment takes place 2-4 weeks after your initial appointment. It is just as important as the first visit as we lay the roadmap to your success.

The appointment includes reviewing of your Strategic Plan and an in-depth review of any testing results.

Follow-Up Visits
$110
Up to 30 mins

The appointment includes discussing additional treatment options, problem-solving any roadblocks, following up on symptoms and concerns and addressing any new questions.

* In-office appointments* are available at Body Co Toronto, in The Junction  and at Subtle Enhancements in Parkdale.
Acupuncture

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture works by moving qi, or energy, within the body. By unblocking stuck qi and helping it flow better, we increase our body’s natural ability to heal. Research has shown acupuncture locally increases blood flow, decreases inflammation and pain signals in the body and has been shown to benefit a wide variety of acute and chronic concerns!

Acupuncture can be used for:
Pain and Injury Recovery: including but not limited to low back pain, sciatic pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, headache and migraines
Menstrual Cycle Concerns: including but not limited to: decreasing period pain, supporting ovulation, regulating cycle length, and decreasing PMS
Addressing the 6 Cornerstones of Health: including improving stress resilience, energy and sleep

Specialty Acupuncture Treatments:

Acupuncture for stress: 60 min appointment including guided meditation, bodywork and an acupuncture treatment focused on regulating the nervous system and calming the mind.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture: Acupuncture can be used to address collagen production, decrease fine lines and wrinkles, strengthen facial muscles and improve skin tone and brightness.

Pregnancy labour prep and induction: Acupuncture has been shown to prepare the cervix and uterus for labour, shorten labour length and decrease the need for additional interventions. Ideally, treatments begin around weeks 36-38 and continue weekly until your due date. After this, treatments can be done every few days until baby comes!

IVF preparation: Acupuncture has been shown to increase the chance of a successful IVF cycle. Ideally, treatments are weekly until and on the day of your transfer.
